Hi, Yaaqoub, my friend!
Nope.
You can work locally and, later on, the app syncs with Mem’s servers.
There are apps for iOS (beta) and Mac (beta). You can use a browser, too.
I don’t know what the story is related to Android, Windows, or any other environment.
You don’t have local files or folders to dig into them.
You can export your mems (notes), but I’ve never done it. Here’s what the app says literally:
Need to have a record of all your mems? This flow converts your Mem data to markdown and lets you download it as a JSON file along with any associated metadata.
You can also import (I’ve never done it). Again, literally:
Import from apps such as Notion, Roam Research and iA Writer. Or, upload a Markdown or plain text file.
Hope it helps!
Take care!
Cheers!
