UI's are something really personal. The point is how you feel when using it. I hardly suffer any friction, and I feel comfortable when interacting with the system. For me, that's the key.

Anyway, I perfectly understand your perspective and, obviously, respect it.

I hope Evernote will make some improvements now that it seems their release development cycles are more frequent.
