Hi, David!!!!

Thanks for taking the time to share your reflections after reading the article.

I love your approach because not every tool is for everyone. Each of us should choose the ones that fits best how we think and how our brains operate.

I've been all my life trusting my data to third parties. Maybe I'm an unconscious guy, but I think that serious companies shouldn't use it as an asset. Being said that, I don't think going back to store files on local is the solution. I think a balance exists and that's betting on paid products instead of free ones.

Last but not least, I agree with you that Obsidian's success is due to, first, a really good product (I've used it for a year and it literally changed my life and how I deal with information because I had to dedicate a lot of time to setting up my system), and, secondly, because there weren't competitors at their level. After Obsidian, a revolution has come, but they're working pretty well, never stopping launching new releases.

I admire the Obsidian team and congratulate them for such a fantastic job. Although I don't use their software, I keep paying my annual subscription as a recognition to their fantastic development.

Let's keep growing together!

Cheers!
