Great article, Darryl!
I've enjoyed it a lot! Congrats my friend!
I guess millions of users all over the world are following this "Note-Taking-Gate".
Having a second brain is key nowadays because of all the information we need to manage.
After being an Evernote's early-adopter, having used this application for almost a decade, I've been inside their beta tester program since they brought me the opportunity.
My experience has been positive, and I think they have improved a lot their GUI (something that for me, as an Apple geek, is critical).
I'm still missing a better search and a deeper level talking about piles and notebooks (but it's not something essential).
Just less than a month ago, I discovered Notion.
I always thought it was only another note-taking app, and I didn't pay any attention to it before (a big mistake). I wrote this article, "Why I do think Notion software can change your life" almost 1 month ago.
I'm an engineer in computer science, and I have to say, after using Notion on a non-stop daily basis for a month, that this software is not just a note-taking app.
In my opinion, Notion is an incredible no-code development platform that allows you to fit your flow into their tool perfectly.
I cannot express how this software has changed my life, especially using August Bradley's PPV System.
I use Notion for my active projects and for all the things I want to use frequently.
I keep Evernote for 2 different uses:
- A huge historical archive.
- A place for all the information that is not relevant to use it frequently.
In my case, the combination of these 2 platforms is working pretty well. I feel my productivity performance is working at its best.
Cheers!
